Cor-Ten® steel letters with a thickness of 2mm, installed on a roundabout next to the Port of Seville.
Once the mill-scale had been removed using an orbital sander, the letters were treated with act-COR Gel, Lineacor’s oxide activator. This has resulted in a beautiful finish, giving orange tones that are very characteristic of a primary oxidation. In addition, the rust drag is less when compared to using the liquid activator.
With act-COR Gel, you can choose between a uniform oxidation or you can take full advantage of its creative potential thanks to its incredible oxidizing strength, which in turn allows you to generate textures with different oxidation tones.
